If you ever pay attention to the word of God you will notice that God always deals with definitive statements. There are no possibly’s, maybe’s, could be’s, or I don’t knows in God’s word and his promises. They are definitive, direct and assertive. They include words like I will, I am, I have spoken, I have declared, don’t be afraid, I am with you and the list goes on. These are words that give assurance, confidence and hope to you.
Here is where you can put your confidence today, God only makes definitive statements and all of his promises are yes and amen. (2 Corinthians 1:20) If your faith is shaken today hold your head up. Find a promise that God has made to you in his word and hold onto it. Be thankful today and know that God will uphold his word. You can depend on it. Hopefully that is definitive enough for you.
