Clarence Haynes

For over 30 years, I have had the privilege of teaching the Bible. My first assignment was the Sunday School class for 12-year-olds in my old church many years ago. Since then, teaching the Bible has been a lifelong passion and joy for me, and just like the wide range of students I have taught over the years, I have learned so many things along the way. Now I want to share some of that knowledge with you. My biggest takeaway is comprehension and learning do not happen unless the students grasp what the teacher is teaching. For this reason, my goal when teaching is to take complex concepts and present them in a way that is easy for anyone to understand. This is the approach that went into Bible Study Basics. The aim is not just to help you learn how to study the Bible but to do it in a way that is easy for you to understand. As you go through the course, that style and approach will come through in each lesson.
